Day Two – June 19, 2018 – Atlanta
Easy morning! I go
out to the sunroom to stretch and Betsy and Roddy are there checking their
email. Eventually Ginger joins us and
after a while we think about breakfast.
Ginger hasn’t been here for a week and has no idea what might be in the
fridge or cabinets! We wind up with flavored oatmeals and some biscuits and
sausage that showed up in the freezer!
And lots of tea!! It’s going to be
a relaxed day, filled with planning for meals and travel and lots of laughter!

Eventually Ginger and I go to Kroger for lunch makings,
dinner makings, and supplies for tomorrow evening’s Solstice celebration. I’m so disappointed that we’re going to miss
it! We met Erin and Ellie last night and
today we get to meet Jazz, the mom of the family that is living
downstairs. She is creating an Earth
Loom!
While we’re at the grocery we notice three firemen in their
uniforms. There is a mom with her young
son who has been wanting a strap that goes across their body and when she tells
the firemen, one of them lets the boy wear his. He’s elated!!
I suggest that the mom take his photo with it on and then the firemen
jump in, too! Then another family says
they need a photo, too!!

| We ran into the mom later and she thanked us for suggesting the photo. |
Dinner is great and afterwards we inspect Jazz’s handiwork
and check out Ginger’s Meadow.
Watermelon for dessert and the wine is flowing.

Amy finally makes it and now the kids are all present and
accounted for! Yay!

It was a nice relaxed visit and made for a very pleasant transition from Mexico to the States to Chautauqua.
